It's kind of crazy to think about all of the trips we have already taken on the motorcycle, and Eric just got his official license this weekend! This weekend was his motorcycle safety class at OTC in Springfield. He said the course was awesome and he learned a lot of great skills. The first night on Friday was just bookwork and was basically a review of everything he learned from studying for his permit test. Saturday was the first riding day for the group, and unfortunately, they had to ride in pouring rain all day (plus, it was cold!). Eric quickly found out that the Frog Toggs we had purchased for rain gear were not good enough. He got soaked! We went to Bass Pro on Saturday night to get better rain gear for him. Sunday ended up being dry, which was good since it was the day he had to take his test. He, of course, passed with flying colors! Way to go, Eric!
